10 Food Products that taste like Spring

Share

Here are 10 food and drink products that celebrate the season of Spring.

After putting together my April Product Picks, I was inspired to share 10 tasty things that get me in the mood for Spring.

Think fresher flavours, sunnier days (kind of) and products that make the most of some of the delicious seasonal produce we get in the UK.

Scroll down for lots of Spring goodness! 🌸

DASH Raspberry Sparkling Water

I came across this brand recently on Stop Food Waste Day.

Dash creates fruity sparkling water drinks from 3 things: water, bubbles and wonky fruit that would have gone to waste.

This raspberry flavour takes my fancy - it would be a nice refreshing beverage for those warmer days. They also have some amazing sounding soda water mixers.

PRESS VITAMIN D SHOT

2

Spring in the UK doesn't always mean sunshine, but this Vit-D shot by Press gives us a splash of fiery, warm flavours!

If you read this blog regularly, you might know I am a big fan of Press; I wrote a Brand Spotlight on Press earlier this year and this orange, turmeric, ginger shot is so so good!

Floral Cakes from blue daisy

3

Blue Daisy is a female-run mobile cafe (or "pavement pâtisserie") in London.

Often decorated with flowers and foliage, these cakes really put me in the mood for Spring (have a quick scroll on their Instagram page and you'll know what I am talking about!).

If you live in London and have an upcoming celebration (or just want to enjoy a gorgeous cake) these cakes would make a beautiful centrepiece for a Spring spread.

DAYLESFORD ORGANIC PEA & WATERCRESS SOUP,

4

Watercress is at its seasonal best from April to October, and this organic pea and watercress soup from Daylesford, is freshly made on their farm.

Described as a "refreshing, light blend of peas, watercress with crème fraîche" - If this isn't a Spring soup, I don't know what is!

CHARLIE & IVY White Balsamic, Tarragon & White Peppercorn

5

Charlie & Ivy's are a great brand to have on your radar for both Spring and Summer.

They create lots of condiments that are great for BBQ's and picnics and this White Balsamic, Tarragon & White Peppercorn bread dipper is amazing.

M&S British Asparagus

I love asparagus! The British asparagus season is a tragically short 8 weeks - so now is the time for us to get our fix!

M&S supply this local British asparagus from the Wye Valley.

The Letterbox Larder Wild Garlic Seasoning

Wild garlic grows abundantly in UK forests and woodlands every Spring.

This packet of Wild Garlic Seasoning from The Letterbox Larder makes it very easy to incorporate wild garlic into your meals, without having to forage for the stuff yourself!

Crooked Pickle Co Spring Veg Piccalilli

7

Described as tangy, crunchy with an excellent sauce to veg ratio - this Spring Veg Piccalilli would be the perfect accompaniment to sandwiches or cheese.

If the reviews are anything to go by, this little jar has a very adoring fan base.

Spring Flower Fondant Fancies

Betty's fondant fancies are making a return appearance on the blog! I featured a version of these beauties back in my January Product Picks.

These ones are decorated for Spring with cute pastel flowers and just looking at them makes me weak at the knees 🤤.

Black Bee British Spring Honey

"Full of the flavours of spring", I've been eyeing up this British Spring Honey from Black Bee Honey. Single source, natural, raw and unpasteurised - you can't go wrong with this one.

(For another great Honey brand check out The London Honey Co.)
