The Best Vegan Ice Creams 2023
It’s officially ice cream season, and I’ve rounded up my favourite vegan ice creams for this summer.
Over the past few years, some amazing new vegan ice creams have launched, and some are so creamy that you’d never guess they were dairy free!
So whilst the sun is shining, it's the perfect time to stock up on your favourites, or give some new flavours a try.
Here are my favourites…
Jude’s Honeycomb Ice Cream

This Great Taste Award winning flavour is a combination of honeycomb ice cream with added pieces of honeycomb, delicious! If you’re new to Jude’s, check out this blog post that I wrote about them.
Araw Coco Raspberry Lychee

I only recently discovered Araw at their pop up in Spitalfields in collaboration with Raye. This ice cream has a sweet lychee and coconut milk base, with a tangy raspberry jam mixed in. Sweet, floral and refreshing.
Northern Bloc Peanut Chocolate Chip
Northern Bloc are based in Leeds, so of course I had to include my favourite local ice cream brand. This is a creamy peanut butter ice cream with added chocolate chips.
Udderlicious dark chocolate & sea salt

When I first had this dark chocolate & sea salt ice cream at Udderlicious, I couldn’t believe it was vegan! It’s only available at Udderlicious shops in London though - located in Islington, Covent Garden, and BoxPark.
Booja Booja cookie dough ice cream
This is a special edition flavour from Booja Booja! It’s made with chunks of cookie dough swirled through vanilla ice cream, and there’s added caramel sauce too. I love that this has a clean ingredients list, just 8 high quality organic ingredients.
Waitrose Plant Living Butterscotch Ice cream

Waitrose have just launched this vegan butterscotch ice cream this summer as part of their Plant Living range. This plant-based butterscotch flavour ice cream contains butterscotch pieces and caramel sauce.
They’ve also launched a vegan chocolate brownie ice cream too!
Beau’s vegan pistachio gelato

Beau’s make top quality vegan gelato, and this pistachio flavour is a dream.

Cecily’s Vanilla & Dark Chocolate Lovely Little Bites
These Lovely Little Bites are the ideal summer snack, it's like a mini choc ice. Cecily’s has a range of 8 different ice creams that are all vegan, and made in Cornwall. They are available in M&S and Ocado, or you can buy directly from Cecily’s website.
