The Best Food Advent Calendars 2021

I've selected some of my favourite foodie advent calendars filled with the most delicious treats...

I couldn’t write a blog post about advent calendars without featuring the Fortnum’s Feasting Advent Calendar. This is the ultimate in luxury food advent calendars (and it’s something I created when I was Grocery Buyer at Fortnum & Mason!). Three years later this is still going strong, with an exciting new mix of products including Victoria Grey Tea Biscuits, Chocolate & Chestnut Liqueur, Ling Heather Honey Gin, and a Quarter Bottle of Champagne.

For peanut butter lovers, this is an amazing new advent calendar from Pip & Nut, containing twenty-four individually wrapped (full size!) dark chocolate peanut or almond nut butter cups.

This beautifully designed box from Carlucciosis is filled with Italian sweets, treats, Aperitivo’s and spirits. With contents including Giandiuotti, Marashino Cherries, and a bottle of Negroni, this is sure to be a hit this Christmas.

Containing over 4.2kg of cheese, this certainly is a giant advent calendar! This is a dream advent calendar for cheese lovers, with 24 individual truckles of artisan Welsh cheese sourced from 7 different cheesemakers.

The producers of gourmet vegan and vegetarian sweets, Candy Kittens, have designed this fun 3D Christmas tree advent calendar, filled with both new and traditional flavours (like Eton Mess and Wild Strawberry!)

They have also partnered with TreeSisters and pledged to plant a tree for every calendar bought – making this the perfect option for a sweet and sustainable lead up to Christmas.

Chococo is a small Dorset based company run by a husband-and-wife team. They have created a luxurious version of the classic ‘chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate’ kind of advent calendar, where the truffles, pralines and caramels resemble beautiful Christmas baubles.

The box has a selection of 25 handcrafted chocolates, with flavours like spiced winter crunch and mulled fruit. A dark chocolate version is also available for vegans.
