A Mother's Day Foodie Gift Guide

Share

I've put together a Mother's Day gift guide for all the foodie mums out there.

Even if your mum isn't that much of a foodie, I reckon most of these gifts would still make lovely presents (of course dog & cat mums also count).

I've included a few different kinds of gift boxes, a quirky little egg cup, a fougasse baking kit and more.

Have a scroll to get inspired!

Fare Magazine Subscription, £20

Mothers Day Gift Idea 1

Fare is possibly the most perfect foodie magazine out there, especially for anyone who enjoys great food writing and learning about different food cultures around the world. An annual subscription gets the recipient two beautiful issues per year, and there is loads of content in each issue - interviews, essays, articles, lots and lots of gorgeous photography.

HERD Tote Bag, £17.50

Mothers Day Gift Idea 2

I was on the hunt for a sturdy but snazzy "bag for life" when I came across this colourful one from HERD. It would be great to use for things like food shopping or beach picnics plus every bag is made from recycled plastic bottles. Each purchase funds 1kg of ocean clean up and HERD also allows customers to track the progress of that clean-up. A few different bag designs are available.

Wolf & Badger Egg Cup, £17

Mothers Day Gift Idea 3

I can imagine this colourful little ceramic bird egg cup from Wolf & Badger perched on a kitchen shelf somewhere, and then recruited when necessary for some boiled eggs and soldiers! They come in 4 different colours and each cup is handmade by Hannah Turner in Bristol.

This floral & frilly tote bag from Liberty is brimming with treats! There's a gin cocktail (with premium gin, cloudy apple juice, elderflower cordial and fresh lime juice), a couple of lovely chocolate bars, some vegan sweets, and a couple of jars of baked nuts. It would be perfect to take on a Mother's Day Spring picnic!

Honeywell Biscuit co - Olive & Rosemary Fougasse Baking Kit, £15

Mothers Day Gift Idea 11

This Olive & Rosemary Fougasse Baking Kit would make a fab Mother's day present. It comes with all the dry ingredients and instructions needed to bake a lovely, herby fougasse at home (fougasse is a type of very yummy French bread) and all that is needed is water and olive oil. It can also be delivered gift wrapped.

Net-a-Porter Raawii Bowl, £65

If you know a mum that would appreciate a nicely designed fruit bowl - voilà! These handmade earthenware bowls are gorgeous and will add a touch of modernism to any table. They come in a few different colours and look very striking when piled high with fruit.

Mothers Day Gift Idea 6

Having tried the full range of teas from Kib, I can tell you that these are definitely gift-worthy teas! Kib is a great, ethical brand to get behind and this wonderful tea box comes with 15 different tea bags (in three different flavours), a tea towel handcrafted in Ethiopia, and a lovely mug. Perfect for mum's who love their herbal teas!

This luxury pantry hamper will transport your mum to the sunny Greek isles where olives, olive oils and pomegranates are in abundance! It's full of tasty, useful ingredients and comes in a handy fabric tote bag (everyone loves a tote bag).

Cutter & Squidge Afternoon Tea at Home Box, £29.00

Mothers Day Gift Idea 8

This year, Cutter & Squidge have a whole range of Mother's Day Hamper's. I thought that this "Afternoon Tea at Home Box" would be a great pick as it comes with all the essential afternoon tea bits (clotted cream and jam included), and the scones, strawberry shortcake loaves and coffee break blondies are all handmade in London.

Papier Recipe Book, £24

Mothers Day Gift Idea 9

Papier has a whole range of recipe journals to choose from and I love that you can personalise each one with your mum's name or initials. They are great for jotting down recipes to create personal cookbooks and in the back you'll find useful sections - like measurement conversions.
